Is your athlete at loose ends during the extended “Stay-at-Home” period? We have the answer.
Game On! Fitness owner, Amy Smith, has spent her entire career in the fitness industry, and holds certifications in many, many types of fitness, including Sports Training for the Female Athlete. I’m proud to have trained Mount Notre Dame volleyball players, as well as athletes from St. Xavier, Roger Bacon, and many select clubs around the city.
The Game On! Xccelerator is the newest cutting-edge workout, and it’s available right here in Cincinnati, at Game On! Fitness.
The Game On! Xccelerator provides all of the traditional exercise benefits of improving muscle tone and building strength and endurance, but at the same time it improves blood flow, circulation, and lymphatic drainage, and actually increases bone mass! Best of all, the Xccelerator takes only 20 minutes!
The Xccelerator uses vibration to stimulate the muscles throughout the body, as the client struggles against the vibration. At the same time, the motion of the machine places tiny stressors on the skeletal system, which tells the body to activate osteoblasts and increase HGH, which both contribute to bone and muscle formation.
This type of workout has been popular on the West Coast for several years, and there have been numerous trials and studies on its results. It is customizable for people of all ages and experience.
- For seniors and those just starting an exercise regime, it can help with balance and coordination, it builds bone density, and can be done at low impact.
- For more the more experienced athlete or sports player, it can provide increases in jumping strength, more advanced coordination, and very targeted deep muscle development. Studies suggest that over time, using this type of training can even increase muscle glycogen in the active muscles, increasing capability for very intense activities.
- Everyone can benefit from the acceleration in recovery: by assisting the lymphatic system in quickly clearing fluids and waste and lowering stress hormones and cortisol, the Xccelerator can assist with avoiding delayed onset muscle soreness and overall recovery.
